However, with Landlord Legal Expenses cover we are able to provide expert legal advice via specialist solicitors, to ensure the process is efficient and hassle free. Our comprehensive Landlord Legal Expenses policy is optional and can be added to the main buildings and contents policy.

Cover can be purchased per residential dwelling for 12 months and an upgrade is available to include Rent Guarantee.

Landlords are finding that their rent default rates are increasing as many tenants struggle with unemployment, lower salaries and increased bills. Recovering arrears are difficult and costly to pursue, often without any guarantee of success, Our Landlord Rent Guarantee will provide cover for this, taking some of the stress away from the landlord.

Cover can be purchased for 6 or 12 month tenancy agreements.

  • Up to £15,000 cover for Rent Arrears (up to £2,500 per month)
  • 6 or 12 month policies to suit the landlord’s tenancy agreement

Landlord Home Emergency will provide assistance in the event of an emergency situation. Cover will be provided for rapid expert help using a national network of contractors to assist and stabilise the problem. Our Landlord Home Emergency cover compliments the landlord's building insurance and provides peace of mind for your customers. Cover is provided for labour, parts and materials to carry out emergency repairs.

Features and Benefits:

  • 24/7, 365 days a year emergency helpline
  • £600 paid to cover the call out, labour, parts and materials to carry out an emergency repair
  • Plumbing problems related to leaking pipes, blocked drains or leaking radiators
  • Blockages in toilet waste pipes
  • Electricity complete failure within the property
  • Gas, central heating or boiler failure
  • Animals or insects that are destructive in their natural behaviour or considered pests or nuisances: brown rats, black rats, house mice, field mice, squirrels, wasps’ nests & hornets’ nests only
  • Broken or damaged windows, doors and locks presenting a security risk to the property
  • UK leading insurer

Cover does not assist with general day to day maintenance of the home but does provide cover for labour, parts and materials to carry out emergency repairs.
